About Me

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Communication and Media (Journalism) at the University of Canberra. My current studies have broadened and refined my abilities across written communication, research, digital media production, editing, as well as both sourcing and conducting research interviews.

I have a passion to embark upon a meaningful career. My experience gained through my degree has allowed me to establish a variety of skills that are valuable in journalism, including: initiative and leadership; striving for results; displaying integrity; showing empathy; being resourceful and adaptable; and contributing to team goals.

I completed an internship within the Internal Communications team  at the Department of Industry for 3 months and have accepted an extended position as a Communications Officer. This role has allowed the practical application and further development of the skills acquired through my studies. Such strengths include: writing to a high professional standard; liaising and providing advice to stakeholders; maintaining efficient and thorough communication with team members; critical thinking and problem solving.
